Attico Barocco B & B is one of the most wonderful  places I've stayed in and I've traveled all over the world.  The location is perfect, the room was impeccable, and the attention to detail makes the stay very comfortable.  It has a charming terrace overlooking Basilica Santa Croce where you can enjoy an aperitif or digestif after dinner, and listen to the church bells while enjoying the view and meeting other guests.  Gianni, the host, is very helpful and attentive and always available to offer suggestions or guidance on itineraries, or arrange transportation.  Plus, he created a website link with map, and other useful information.  This is absolutely the ideal place on a visit to Lecce.  If there were more stars, I would rate it a 10!!

Fantastic apartment in an amazing location. We absolutely loved our stay here in the heart of Lecce. Everything was on our doorstep - but it was quiet for sleeping. The bed was huge and comfortable. We have traveled all around Puglia for a couple of weeks before reaching Lecce. Our stay at Attico Barocco was a pleasant experience which exceeds our expectation. There are a few attributes to that. First of all, the location of Attico is fantastic! We have stayed at various Old Towns across Puglia and other parts of Europe, and often we have to drag our luggages around the town to get to our rental places. Attico located in the most happening area of Old Town Lecce, right by the side of the gorgeous Basilica, you step outside of it and all the actions are at your doorsteps. At the same time, the place is so close to the inner road outside of Old Town that allows you to park your car and offload your luggages, take a short walk of 50m and voila you are there! This place is spacious and comfy with a large balcony with gorgeous sunset view. And it is quiet inside the rooms, even though it is in the middle of Old Town. We are very much impressed with the level of details and preparations the owner of this place has prepared for his guests. From the welcome drinks with beautiful sunset view to the Information Link he has built for the guests. That Link provides pretty much all info we needed while in Lecce from where to find good restaurants (Note: local - non touristy restaurants) to where are best beaches to go... We think This owner must have anticipated the needs and difficulties his guests may come across when visiting Puglia to build up such a useful link. Our stay at Attico was absolutely amazing! If you want a central location close to the action, this property is great! ☺My two teenage daughters and I were able to find a room that fit all 3 of us and it worked out great. The best thing about this BnB is its location. You are literarily in the HEART of the action of the old town. We only stayed one night but the location helped us quickly see lots of Lecce! Gianni is also so so nice and really cared about our stay. He gave us so much information about the area and was in constant contact through WhatsApp and was kind enough to let us keep our suitcases there after check out so we could spend a couple more hours exploring Lecce. ☹It is a great property that we didn’t have any complaints about. Great host, location, and value! ☺The location of this property was amazing. Walking distance to everything with several cafes, restaurants and more right out the door.  Our host was very responsive and helpful. ☹The room comfortably slept 3 people which was perfect for our family. Highly recommend, would definitely choose this next time ☺Location in Old Town, easy walk to cafes, bars points of interest and shopping. Just a few steps to navigate with suitcase then a lift. Host was exceptionally helpful and responded to requests promptly and politely. He referred me to an App they have showing places of interest, recommended restaurants and everything you.’d need to know. I enjoyed the communal balcony area outside overlooking the Basilica Santa Croce where I would have my evening tipple, the view and the sound of the church bells- bliss.
